Big news! We've been squashing bugs and fine-tuning NoteForms to make your experience smoother than ever. Here’s what’s new:

🎯 No more unwanted spacing!

• Field help sections are now completely removed when left blank—no extra space left behind! 🧹

🔄 Restart button now works as expected!

• Clicking "Restart" on a refillable form now properly takes you back to the first page instead of the last. No more unnecessary clicking! 🎉

🔎 Steps to Reproduce: 1️⃣ Go to a form and click 'Edit'.

2️⃣ Scroll down to 'Settings' > 'Submission Settings'.

3️⃣ Activate 'Re-fillable Form'.

4️⃣ Click the "Restart" button.

✅ What’s fixed?

• Your form will now correctly restart from the first page, saving you from endless "Previous" button clicks. 🔄🙌

🔀 Smarter form duplication!

• Field IDs are now randomized when duplicating a form, making it easier to create clean copies without unnecessary manual changes. 🔢✨

🛠️ Fixes & Improvements

• Checkbox Logic Rule – Checkbox validation now correctly enforces "Is checked" and "Is not checked" conditions.

• i18n Cookie Issue (Custom Domains & Embeds) – Fixed a bug where embedded forms on custom domains weren’t applying the correct translation settings.

⚡ Smarter Dynamic Filtering

We’ve made dynamic filtering even easier! Formula columns are now automatically managed when:

1. You click "Add URL Formula Column"

2. A database view is updated with dynamic filtering enabled

This ensures a seamless experience with less manual setup!

You can now select between CAPTCHA and reCAPTCHA to keep spam submissions out of your forms. Whether you prefer a simple puzzle or a smarter, behavior-based approach, the choice is yours! Example: Use reCAPTCHA for a seamless user experience on public feedback forms.

Bug Fixes:

• Character Limit Display: The character limit is now correctly displayed for the rich text field.

• Database view title field

Collecting barcode data just got a whole lot easier! With the new Barcode Scanner input field, your forms can now accept barcode scans directly—perfect for managing inventory, event check-ins, or any workflow that benefits from quick, accurate data entry.

We’ve added a new condition to form logic: match or do not match specific patterns. This gives you even more control over your forms!

💡 Example: Ensure names only contain letters by setting up a condition that checks for valid entries before users proceed.

🛠 Improvements and Fixes

• Custom Validation Rules: Custom validation rules are now processed before default ones. For example, if you add custom rules to an email field, your rules will take precedence over the built-in validation.

• Integration Reliability: Resolved an issue where form integrations failed to trigger if there was a connection problem with the underlying Notion database. Integrations will now work even if the database has been removed or unshared.

• Integration Options: Added the ability to include or exclude hidden fields when sending data to integrations like Slack or Discord.

• Field Logic Enhancements: You can now copy logic from one field to multiple fields in the form editor, saving time and effort.

You can now translate your NoteForms forms, including error messages, into 20+ languages. Whether you're gathering feedback in French, sending surveys in Spanish, or creating registrations in Hindi, your forms can now truly connect with your audience.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed display of phone numbers in the database view. Previously, phone number entries did not appear correctly in the Notion database view. This issue has been resolved, ensuring that all phone number data is now accurately displayed.

• Resolved auto-incremented ID issue with Google Sheets integration. Automated IDs correctly generated in Notion were not syncing to Google Sheets. This bug has been fixed, so your IDs will now appear consistently in both Notion and Google Sheets.

• Corrected image block alignment for better visual consistency. Users were unable to align image blocks to the center or right; they were stuck on the left side. This has been addressed, giving you full control over image alignment for a more polished form design.

We’ve added a Rich Text field to your forms! This new input allows respondents to format their text with bold, italics, underlines, lists, and more.

Example use case: Perfect for collecting detailed project proposals, formatted feedback, or any response that needs a little extra structure.
