Ability to start typing a date, instead of only using the visual selector.

I might even expand this request to include a number of other user form interface components, in the settings UI and on forms. E.g. some of the settings boxes have a search box to make it easier to find the field you want. Take the “Filter by…” boxes in the Filter Data section of a view. But even there, you first have to click into the search, instead of being able to immediately start typing.

Compare this to the default, built-in behavior of a plain selection box (`<select>`) in most browsers. Like when I’m selecting my state on an address form, I can immediately begin typing the state’s name and it will find it for me.
